Installing some more light

Our house gets so gloomy in winter. It has lovely high ceilings but relatively small windows, so we are looking to supplement the light in the house with not only more artificial lighting but with improving the natural light with frosted windows and skylights. My plan is to turn this house from drab to fab, and I hope you will enjoy reading along. Some of the projects are DIY, but others might require the help of your friendly local contractor.
